Providencia de Embargo and Seguridad Social
I missed my Seguridad Social payments and ignored their notices. Now I have a “Providencia de Embargo” for €600 (€500 principal + €100 penalties) (initially it was 250). I need concise expert help with: 1. Can I file an administrative appeal to lower or waive penalties? Will it help? I have no incoming funds on my cards, credit-card refusals, and two dependent children. 2. Exact steps to settle the full amount (forms, references, payment channels). 3. I understand I lost a discount—how do I reinstate it after payment?
Need a solicitor
Hi, My son attended an 'away tour' for the Colts (16-18 year old age group) with the local rugby club, which we paid for him to go on. Despite the club being an affiliated RFU club, they failed to put Safeguarding measures in place, a group of 18 year olds got completely p****d, coaches also failed to stay sober (legal requirement under safeguarding legislation) and the end result was my sons room getting broken into by some of his p***ed team members. Things were broken, stolen and as a fairly innocent 17 year old the events shook him up a bit (to the extend he called me at 4.30am and asked me to pick him up from Torquay)......some of the other youngsters in the team also experiences similar. The scheduled rugby game was cancelled (although my son and others has left sooner due to safety concerns) due to youger lads parents coming to pick them up. The rugby club as refusing to provide refunds and compensate for stolen/damaged items ...this situation arose because the club had failed to put adequate safeguarding measure in place. There has since been a large Police, RFU, Gloucestershire RFU and Social Services investigation (which is still ongoing), the club chairman and half of the safeguarding team have since left the club...and there is absolutely no doubt that the club are in the wrong. I am wanting to pursue a claim for ticket price + cost of stolen/damaged goods for myself and probably 3-4-5 other parents...which probably amounts to a few thousand pounds. These events effected some of the youger lads quite badly (they come from rural areas and some have led sheltered lives), they went a night without sleep due to hotel rooms being trashed and it took them a while to get over what happened. Probably a small claims court issue [Money Claim Online], need help drafting a wording.

Legal Consultation for Charity Structure and Future Growth Plans
Overview: We are a nonprofit organisation currently structured as a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG). Our mission is to address food poverty, foster social integration, and support disadvantaged and diverse communities. We offer various programs such as employability training, mentoring, cooking classes, and food parcel distribution, primarily targeting low-income families, young people, and vulnerable individuals. We are seeking expert legal advice to determine the most appropriate structure for our organization going forward. Specifically, we need guidance on whether we should maintain our current CLG status, convert to a Community Interest Company (CIC), or explore the option of registering as a charity to better align with our future goals of sustainable funding and program expansion. Current Situation and Vision: We are facing challenges accessing certain types of funding due to our CLG structure. Funders often require us to be registered as a CIC or charity. Our future vision includes potentially offering paid services by packaging some of our programs, as we explore ventures into supporting small businesses or other sectors. We also want to leverage our growing network and potential crowdfunding as a funding source but are conscious of the need to balance that with regulatory requirements and transparency. While we are in the early stages of making this decision, we are looking for the right structure that supports both our charitable mission and future goals of sustainability without conflicting with our operations. What We Are Looking For: A freelancer with experience in nonprofit/charity legal structures, ideally with lived experience of guiding organizations through similar transitions. Someone who can quickly analyze our current situation and goals and provide a practical recommendation on whether to remain a CLG, convert to a CIC, or register as a charity. We do not require detailed legal documents at this stage. Instead, we are looking for a clear recommendation based on their experience and an understanding of the regulatory and funding landscape in the UK. Deliverables: A concise short report or consultation providing your recommendation on the most suitable legal structure for our organisation. Key reasons for your recommendation, considering our mission, funding opportunities, and future plans. Ideal Freelancer: Has experience advising charities, social enterprises, or nonprofits on organizational structure and has successfully helped similar organizations transition. Is familiar with the legal implications of running both charitable and for-profit arms, and can provide strategic insights without needing to deliver detailed technical documentation at this stage. We are a nonprofit with limited resources but are willing to compensate fairly for the right expertise.

Uk consultation
Hello, freelancers, I’m a non-resident looking for the best option to set up an entity for our new project. I was referred to 2 options: Option # 1: LBG company https://www.mintformations.co.uk/international-limited-by-guarantee/ Option #2: And LBG charity https://www.mintformations.co.uk/company-formation/types/ltd-charity-articles/ in UK does LBG pay income tax from the entire grant funding or whats unused by the end of year I have a few specific questions on UK jurisdiction formation. Initially, the project was planned as a hybrid social enterprise (for-profit company + non-profit company with charitable status) - we are planning fundraising, including grant funding, donations collections, and fundraising events (eventually), and the other side of the business will also be making profits, which we plan either fully or partially reinvest into the business. Little stuck with UK specifics: - Company Limited by Guarantee - Google says -'the profits are re-invested to aid the promotion of the not-for-profit entity's practices. Importantly, if there is a distribution of profits, then the organization will have to forfeit its application for a “charitable status.” Also, it says that the director cannot be compensated in LBG charity. Q part 1. Which seems like what we need two-in-one solutions. However, my question is - does a Limited by Guarantee company without charity status have the same benefits in terms of tax breaks: - will we have to pay income tax from grant funding? Do we pay income tax (LBG, not LBG charity) from the unused portion of the grant only (at the end of the reporting period)? - are there any limitations on the types of grants we can apply for? - can we use our profits for: 1- marketing; 2- salaries; 3- support of our project beneficiaries 4- to cover other operational costs (it says LBG charity that the director cannot be paid; is this correct? Because in our model the director gets paid a salary. Also, how do we set up that salary is grant-dependent?) Q part 2: What is the ideal company type for us? 1 - Limited by Guarantee without charitable status 2 - Limited by guarantee charity + regular limited liability company for commercial, for-profit part of operations? 3 – other (and how do we minimize income tax from grant funding then)

Disciplinary rebuttal letter Due Tomorrow
Hi, I have a disciplinary meeting tomorrow and require a rebuttal letter to the meeting itself. Could somebody please help write a written statement to be read: I am entitled to the following before the meeting commences: "Your right to make a written statement You’ll be allowed to make written submissions before any hearing." I have spoken to Acas and they said there are mitigating circumstances involved as the company is aware I suffer from "social and general anxiety", and in this case, it applies. Failing to recognise this is in breach of the discrimination, as it has a connected to a disability I have made the company aware of. I have made the company aware I suffer from "said" conditions and was initially told I can work remotely (which I had been doing), but as the weeks progress I have to make a visit to the office premises once per week by the end of December, to conform to the "travellers policy", which is the parent company. I felt pressure to abide by this ruling and while under the constraint of the increasing side effects of the medication; until it normalised I acted out of character. I expected there to be a intermediary to discuss the incident involving my [colleague name] as a team, instead on the very same day I had a one-to-one call booked abruptly with just myself and my managers manager (two hierarchy above me), I immediately raised concern that it should not have gone that far and we could of discussed the incident between me and [colleague name]. I don't understand why she didn't speak to me directly. The allegation regarding "unprofessional behaviour and communication" was in response to what the colleague had said to me which was to the effect of "You are unprofessional" and I felt offended and responded duly out of character with words to similar effect, but not over extending that mark. Please keep in mind I had discussed with the colleague coming into the office to discuss the "sprint planning" to which she replied abruptly with 'I'm not coming in" and did not mention it wasn't going ahead when given the opportunity. As I saw the event in my calendar I assumed it was going ahead, and given we are team mates she had the opportunity to mention it wasn't going ahead. I also mentioned I was making adjustments so my wife could work from home that day and pick my three-year daughter up from nursery without a vehicle, as she doesn't drive, just so I could be in the office for the sprint planning session. Is there anyone that can write this up for a reasonable fee? Thanks, AJ
